Michael Zagami

Michael Zagami is the VP of Eliza’s Health Engagement Design team comprised of graphic designers, advanced-degreed health communications experts, voice talents, audio production specialists, creative media writers, solution architects and mass media specialists. Passionate about inspiring behavior change, Zagami’s team applies behavioral intelligence, health communications and mass media theory as well as agency copywriting tenets to design Eliza’s unique consumer health engagement communication approaches. Zagami joined Eliza’s design team in 2006 and has spent his time working closely with health plans, disease management companies and PBMs across the country, consulting on best practices for establishing brand and executing macro and micro strategies to influence behavior change. Over the years, he has helped develop Eliza’s brand for health engagement and behavior change – a communication strategy that can be executed and managed across channels and demographics. Zagami is also a lead member of Eliza’s Sales Engineer committee to put design and operations around unique Eliza products.

Zagami is also currently working on completing his MBA in Marketing and Consumer Behavior from Northeastern’s D’Amore McKim School of Business. Prior to Eliza, Zagami was a copy editor and writer for Bait & Tackle Advertising Agency, a division of Going, Going Productions. He was a lead television spot writer and concept creator for multiple companies, and a 2004 Telly Award winner.  Zagami is an active member of The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). Whenever possible, he likes to leverage his experience as a recording artist to add a touch of joy into Eliza’s consumer health engagement communications.  Zagami holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with concentrations in English and Writing for Mass Media from Gordon College.
